NOMINAL MEMBERSHIP FEES
NETS membership fees remain nominal as compared with those of many other professional and national trade organizations. On average, members pay less than $1 per day to belong to NETS. A single business membership covers all locations.

UNIQUE, FUN & BUSINESS-ORIENTED NETWORKING EVENTS
Through two unique networking events (our Latest & Greatest Exhibits and Members’ Dinner in August and Sneak Peek Exhibits in January) we bring together retailers and suppliers. Retailers see what is new; suppliers get to demo their products. By exhibiting at both of these events, supplier members automatically earn back their membership fee through discount rates for exhibit tables. Sponsorship opportunities available in connection with these events all Supplier members to enhance their presence and further influence the buying decisions of independent toy retailers.
Our Annual Retailers’ Conference takes place each January, just prior to the opening of Toy Fair in Toronto. This features recognized retail and motivational speakers in conjunction with idea-packed roundtable discussions.
NEIGHBOURHOOD TOY STORE DAY
A national celebration of independent, specialty toy stores across Canada, held the second Saturday in November, Neighbourhood Toy Store Day launches the holiday season with a national marketing promotion that reminds consumers to think beyond the ‘big box’ stores and mass marketers during the holiday season.
NETS PLAY APP
The first of its kind, the NETS Play App for Apple and Android, provides instant connectivity to retailer stores at no charge, displays top supplier products for a nominal charge, and provides oodles of parent-oriented play content and ideas.
Our partnership with ParentsCanada Magazine offers NETS and its members unlimited possibilities and opportunities to reach out to consumers through advertising, editorial and product placement features.
